The purpose for conducting this research was to look at the correlation to see if the dark triad showed gender difference in love styles and to see how people that score higher in the dark triad function in their relationships. The research discovered that in some cases different genders revealed strong positive correlations while other revealed negative correlations.
In the introduction of the article the author failed to define the variables given, that is both traits and love styles. It is very unclear whether the key constructs are traits or disorders. Henceforth the introduction is one of poor quality making the article difficult to understand, and therefore there is no understanding of the dark triad given to the reader. The introduction
