In conclusion, the concepts from Governing Immigration Through Crime all contribute to the story of The Devil’s Highway. The Devil’s Highway, in my opinion, is a strong and emotional story. Men and their children put their lives on the line to cross into the United States for their families and to build a future and return to their wives. On the other hand, I can also see the United States and the American people point of view as to why they are trying to prevent immigrants from entering the United States. They fear jobs will be taken away and as immigrants reproduce then there will be futures to come.
