The Enchiridion of Epictetus My personal experience from this book is view changing. I believe this because in the book it tells me things I have never thought before. For example a reoccurring idea in the book is to not worry whats happening around you. Also it states 'If you think that you have free rein over things that are naturally beyond your control, or if you attempt to adopt the affairs of others as your own, your persuits will be thwarted and you will become a frustrated, anxious, and fault-finding person”.(The Enchiridion of Epictetus). First of all, let's get deeper into what my opinion is about not worrying about whats around you. This quote changes how I view things. Before I read this book I always worried about things around.
