The Fugees was a soccer team that consisted of young refugees that were kids, who moved from different countries from all around the globe. The kids escaped from their countries for safety, a better life, and more. They experienced war and killings at a very young age. When they came to America, they had a hard time learning the language and making friends. When they came to America for the first time, they arrived with a disrespectful start from all of the kids.
Luma saw the refugees playing soccer, so she decided to make a soccer team just for refugees. She wanted the kids to forget about the past and work on the future to make their future better. More and more kids continued to join and soon it became a whole enormous family.
