I am currently reading Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and I am on page 452. Since my last journal a lot has happened. Mikael and Lisbeth’s relationship has taken an unexpected turn, Henrik has suffered from a heart attack, and the investigation has led them to an unexpected suspect. In this journal I will be reviewing three changes that have occurred in the novel. The first change is Mikael’s relationship with Henrik. After Henrik’s heart attack Mikael reports to Henrik’s lawyer, Frode. This, and the fact that Mikael is constantly devoting his time into researching Harriet’s disappearance, has put a lot of distance between him and Henrik.
