In the story “The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone” by James Giblin, the author’s viewpoint is, the Rosetta stone is important because it allowed scholars to figure out and understand a long dead language of hieroglyphs, which in turn helped scholars understand the ancient Egyptian culture.
