The Handmaid`s Tale “The Handmaid`s Tale” by Maragret Atwood, ackowledges the lives of women apart of a dystopian society who have been restricted. Living in Gilead, women have been forcibily placed in social statuses based on their abilities, age, and fertility issues. They appear to be the submissives to men and are given little to no freedom. Offred, a handmaiden, narrates here take on the daily routines she encounters everyday and the lives of her other associates.
