Dodge has been breaking all sorts of records with their Hellcat variant of the Challenger they released in 2014. It remained the king of muscle cars until 2017. However, they have made something even better this time. They’ve created a new variant of the Challenger for 2018 called the Dodge Demon or as Dodge calls it, “the Quarter Mile King”. Unlike the Hellcat, the demon is very easy to transform from a pure drag racing machine into a fun car to cruise or tear up the streets. While the Hellcat has the power for the drag strip, it isn’t nearly ready for it. The Hellcat would take a large chuck of change to make it a track car. Even with the most prepped track, the Hellcat with not have hardly any traction on the stock 275 Pirelli tires. On the other hand, the demon comes stock with 315 Nitto drag radial tires. The Crate includes just about everything you need to go drag racing. The tools will include: a hydraulic floor jack with carrying bag, a cordless impact wrench with charger, a torque wrench, a tire-pressure gauge, a fender cover, a tool bag, a foam case that fits into the trunk and securely holds the front runners. On top those tools, the Demon Crate will include a dozen more parts, including Direct Connection Performance Parts: a performance powertrain control module with high-octane engine calibration, replacement switch module containing high-octane button, conical performance air filter, passenger mirror block-off plate, front-runner drag wheels. The crate gives you everything you need to run amazing times on the track and then quickly remove them to drive the Demon on the street. Although the Demon is banned by the NHRA for being too fast without a roll cage, for a little extra money Dodge will put in a removable roll cage into your Demon. This is very easy to put in and out and will make your car NHRA approved. On top of that, the car features a removable back seat. This has two benefits. It’s can be removed to make the car
