“You get hurt, hurt ‘em back. If you get killed… walk it off.” With comedy being only one of his many strong suits, Steve Rogers is a hero many people adore. What makes Captain America one of the most cherished superheroes? Movies draw many people into bond with the main character in many ways, but they have to like the film first. To gain great reviews and a profit, movie producers have to put in a lot of time, effort and money. Not only this, but sequels are crucial to keep audiences interested.
First off, to make anything, money is required, but how much do producers use to make a movie? That depends on how well they want to cultivate their future watchers’ attention. This was illustrated in the Captain America movie series. For the first movie, Captain America: The First Avenger, had 140 million USD spent on its creation. It’s successor, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, had 170 million USD, but the finale of the series, Captain America: Civil War, had 250 million USD. All that goes into a movie, including effort and money, received excellent reviews.

Movies are no exception. From the beginning to the end of the Captain America series, the film only escalates in the rating category. A rating site, Rotten Tomatoes, sets The First Avenger at an 80% audience approval, and The Winter Soldier at 89%. Ranking the highest of the three movies, Civil War has an audience approval of 91%. Most ratings come after a person watches a motion picture, but how do people like watching a film that they have been waiting for since the trailers had been first put out?
