The Immodest Proposal The biggest problem in today’s society is immodesty. Modesty is defined as a regard for decency of behavior, speech, and dress. The problem is seen in all three subject areas. I through extensive research on Facebook twitter instagram, pinterest, and vine; have now developed a solution to solve each problem.
Problem letter 1 is a lack of modesty in behavior. Many citizens of the modern world have begun to lose all sense of censorship in their daily behaviors. By this I mean our culture has developed the biggest population of divas the world has ever known. The solution to this problem comes from the popular old saying “spare the rod spoil the child.” The solution is to beat children with their own type of evil by using public humiliation. I am purely suggesting that every parent begin to beat their child every time a sassy attitude or tone is seen or used especially in the presence of peers or on social media. If this beating causes extreme crying sessions and or kids that limp around because their butt hurts, then the parents have done their job. Lastly, every parent should tell their child to suck up the pain and eat their vegetables like every kid in Africa wishes they could do.
Problem number B is the lack of modesty within our own language and common vernacular. As stated before social media has become the breeding grounds for such immodesty. Kids have begun to think that the use scurvy words such as beep, beep, and beepbeepbeep; makes them sound cooler and more gangsta fresh. When in reality those who have better sense and more education think that their peers have lost their minds and brain cells due to high activity on such sites as tumblr. The solution, like hydrogen peroxide, is to clean up such language using common household cleaning supplies. Again for the solution to work parents must play a large role. Every time a teen uses a word such as beep parents should clean their mouth using bleach, dish detergent, and ammonia. Yes, some scientist say that such cleaning products are deadly, but isn’t the saying “I brought you in to this world so I can take you out,” mean anything these days. Plus, what do scientists know it’s not like that actually have degrees that are useful
