Although the electoral college has effect on the American people there are several reasonings why this topic should be abolished. The electoral college violates political equality, some say this may be unlawful in ways this matter is handled by the electoral college. It is not a neutral counting device, it may favor some citizens over others from looking at the number of people voting compared to the number of the electoral college voting. Although the American government is violating political equality citizens still stand by with what they believe in. Also, it has some say that the counting procedure is not neutral we still follow majority vote.
