It was a very sad time. All of the people that were captured were brought to camps. Others that were not captured were either being hid or helping hide the rest of the people. The people that kept them hidden showed a lot of compassion. They risked their lives to save others lives. If there was compassion to the Jews from the Nazis those people wouldn’t have died. There would have been no war.
I think that compassion is a human right. Everybody deserves kindness. Even if you don’t like someone or don’t agree with them at least you should respect them. Lots of people don’t have respect for anybody but themselves. People should learn the golden rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. That's how many people are taught at a young age. Everyone deserves compassion.
During the Orlando shooting many people died. The people died because they were in a gay night club. The people who shot didn’t agree with the gay people's sexuality. They didn’t show them compassion. They didn’t follow the golden rule. They didn’t treat others the way the wanted to be treated. Just because they didn’t agree with agree with them they killed them.
