He found joy in the little things, and he was happy to be able to share many precious moments despite the goodbyes. However, it seemed that other thoughts contributed to the rough change: “A part of me felt that I wasn’t ready,” he admits, “but another was excited to be on my own away from my parents, and to prepare for adulthood.” Jason still misses his friends terribly, but it seems that he’s quite happy with college life otherwise. He’s good at handling his workload, and claims that it’s nothing to worry about. After getting to know some people, he is, in fact, quite excited for the experience, both in college and beyond. “It finally hit me how close the future is. You’re surrounded by young adults and the future and our lives ahead seem extremely close.” he says excitedly on the screen. It’s clear that he’s looking forward to getting out in the real world and making his mark, as opposed to common misconceptions of students wanting to be in college
