I greatly admire Dorothea Lange’s dedication for photography. She captured every detail of the sceneries she saw, either mentally or with her camera. Her photographs were marvelous because besides capturing the lives of the people, they also captured their feelings as individuals. She wanted to know about everyone’s life experiences. Those that travelled with her and drove her around, state that she wanted to capture every single detail, even if it was a “destroyed car.” We have images of previous times in history because of all of the photographers, like Dorothea, that dedicated their lives to capture photos that may not have been seen as important in the past, but are very important to us in the present.
