The under-14 Boy’s premier team has had tremendous success the past 18 months. They are currently #2 in Florida State League play and they have been in the finals of 3 out of 4 Southeastern regional tournaments they have entered this fall (winning 2 of them and finishing runner-up in 1).
As a result of their success they have been selected to travel to Scotland for training and participation in one of Europe’s premier youth academies and tournaments. On July 18 through July 26th, 2013 they will be traveling to play against teams from England, Scotland, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Mexico when they take part in an international soccer tournament, hosted by the St. Mirren and Rangers Football Clubs of Scotland. This program is going to help the team advance their training and compete with some of the top international youth academies.
For all of the players, this is a dream come true. But to realize this dream, they seriously need sponsors to help fund their trip. The players are furiously working to save money to pay for some of their fees, but many could use some extra help.
My goal is to help them raise about $25,000 in sponsorship funds. This will be used to help pay for training fees, airfare and travel costs, lodging, tournament fees, and other host club fees.
The team has 15 great players, a number of whom will not be able to go if they do not receive help.
