The Intolerable Acts was an American label for the laws made by the British Parliament in 1744 in response to the Boston Tea Party. The acts made for the colonist made them have more anger towards Britain as they got passed. It was made to tighten government control of the colonies and prevent any kind of disorder but that plan also failed ,because it lead them to another problem - the American Revolution.The five acts were primarily directed to the people who lived in Massachusetts and Boston.

They were also called the Coercive Acts ; there was 5 laws passed by Parliament to punish colonists for the Boston Tea Party . King George III was furious with the people so he decided to do these acts for their punishment. The laws are : 1) Boston
