The Limburg Act On March 1, 1932, Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., 20-month-old son of Charles Augustus Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, was kidnapped about 9:00 p.m., from his nursery room which was located on the second floor of the Lindbergh residence in Hopewell, New Jersey. At approximately 10:00 p.m., it was discovered that the child was missing from his crib, the child’s nurse, Betty Gow was the first to notice that the child was missing. Shortly thereafter, Mr. and Mrs. Lindbergh arrived and notified the authorities of their missing child.
