Catch-22 is just one of many logical fallacies. If a pilot is sane, they express concern for their own safety. If they are crazy, they do not and are required to be grounded. However, the pilot must ask to be grounded, and in doing so, proves they are sane. Such a clause brings up the question: how could such an illogical statement be written and enforced in this fictional army? The story isn’t limited to only this fallacy, though.
