Joyce, the charge nurse for 1st floor came to the 2nd floor around 3 am and ask for the 2nd floor med room key. I asked her what do you need here, just give me the key. I respectfully open the med room for her meanwhile I was standing at the door to close the door when she finished. Joyce picked up a pack of Loperamide tab OTC and searching other cabinets and left the cabinets open and messed up the med room. I asked her, can you tell me what do you need she yelled at me to go away, I am going to call Sandy, I am going to call 911. I call the police if you accused me. I asked her what do you need, Joyce yelled at me, just give me the key I am a nurse. I did not respond to her loud harassments and opened the med card for her, she looks up and down and messed up the med card, looking at syrups and then she said when I found it, I will tell you.
For the third time, Joyce came upstairs around 5 am and asked for my med pass, yelling loudly, give me the key to med room downstairs. I told her that I was told not to give the supervisors key to anybody. She replies I am a charge nurse like you and I need the key. I asked her what do you need. Joyce did not say anything to me just keep yelling, I have witnesses. While she was going to the elevator on the hall way, she loudly cursed me, I can’t remember the exact word.
For the fourth time, Joyce came to the 2nd floor around 6 am yelling at me, I need the key, at this time she said I need blood sugar strips and med crush bags. I told her I already have looked in the 2nd floor, we don’t have any here. I gave her a bottle of blood sugar strips which I just opened. She yelled at me, I need a new one, I don’t want this. I calmly told her that this one is just opened and is full. Joyce was very loud and she was yelling at me I am not a child, I am a nurse. I don’t understand why she made that statement. I am trying to do my job and I have nothing personal with
