People get judges every day. In the short story The Minister's Black Veil, by Nathaniel Hawthorne is about a man named Mr.Hooper wearing a veil and how that affects him with himself and the people around him. He was getting judged for something as simple a veil on his face. As we human we judge and get judged everyday.We are all guilty of doing it sometimes. Though we judge by the cover we should know what is going on. Mr.Hooper was a good man in the village, he was living in. He was known and talked to many of the people there. The story doesn't really say why he wears a veil, but one day he decided to wear one. As he walked out his house people around him saw him with his veil on covering half his face only showing his mouth and chin. In paragraph three it a guy know as old man Gary said “our parson has gone mad.” In addition, his girlfriend left him for what other people are saying about him. Being judged mostly is saying something bad. Some people get judged for what they wear. This happens everywhere. judging is easy to do. Even saying to someone that a person's outfit is ugly, you are judging the person with the outfit on. As some people's religion only let them wear certain type of clothing. For example Muslim women have to wear hijab . In their culture it is normal to wear it, many women wear them. Let's say that a group of Muslims go to Wyoming. Its to believe not a lot to no Muslims live there. People will be saying and seeing that that is not normal to wear. Mr.Hooper was judged and rumors and lies were said about him. Like him people don't understand why they are being judged. Some people don't even know who the person is who are judging them. I believe that Hooper tried to help and tell people not to be judgmental, but some people didn’t seem to
