The Eastern Woodland Tribes are located from the Mississippi River eastward to the Atlantic Ocean. The tribes in the Eastern Woodland were very large. Women used deerskin for clothing. Each tribe had their own language and they joined together to make a nation. Tribes usually traded furs, shells, and corn. The Ottawa tribe were known for trading and they traded medicines.
