In the story, “Most Dangerous Game”, by Richard Connell, Sanger Rainsford finds himself in a situation where he has to use his brains over his brawn. Sanger Rainsford is a hunter who is cast into the sea after a violent storm. He washes up on Shipwreck Island where he meets a man by the name of General Zaroff. When Rainsford walks up to Zaroff’s mansion, he is greeted by a mute giant, named Ivan. After Rainsford explains his dilemma to Ivan, he is invited inside and treated like royalty, but he senses something is not right after Zaroff begins to tell him about his hunting adventures. Zaroff realizes that Rainsford is a famous hunter because he owns lots of Rainsford’s books. Zaroff hopes that Rainsford will join him on his hunting trip. Rainsford
