After watching the Ted Talks Video on “The Myth of the Gay Agenda” The presenter spoke about the hostile situations Gay people face in the country and the lack of understanding of LGBT community by people in larger society. People can't be both religious and lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. The society opposes equality between the LGBT community and heterosexual. Companies have to choose between supporting the general public or LGBT inclusion. The speaker spoke at length about the Gay lifestyles and Gay Agenda in the US. He revealed that gay lifestyle has no place in many areas in the US. According to the speaker, politicians believe that LGBT lifestyle is a great threat to civilization than terrorism. He is very dismayed and found this assertion of politicians absurd. He revealed that Gay Agenda is actually the US Constitution, and there should be equal rights and opportunities for everyone regardless of their social status, because we are all humans and citizens of this great country. He further states that although the Constitution depict that discrimination against anyone will not be tolerated, many states denies the LGBT community equal rights. Such as being fired from their jobs or losing their accommodation, because of their sexual orientation. The speaker uses the state of North Carolina and Michigan as an example, whereby LGBT people could be ejected from their apartment or lose their jobs without reason. In his reaction, the speaker demystified the word “Gay”. He let us know that the person sitting next to you could be a gay/lesbian and his/her appearance has nothing to do with normal lifestyle.
