Deafening explosion. Petrifying scream. Excruciating pain. The young child sat huddled in the corner of the building as the world surrounding her was gradually disintegrating. Her parents were absent and forgotten, and her life was diminishing as every drop of brightness was evaporated from her world. She perceived the shrieks of those massacred with each ear-splitting explosion that transpired, but she never abandoned that gloomy chamber. She was only a child, yet, she had already encountered the malevolence and inhumanity in the world around her- a world filled with prejudice and hate. This girl was experiencing a war- a war that was only ignited because of religious controversy. Yet, the main religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) in the world have a profuse quantity of similarities. Regardless, there are many disputes between them; this negates the numerous morals and principles that are taught within each of these religions. Two of the main religions, Judaism and Christianity, have comparable quotations in their religious texts. For example, the quote “Who among the gods is like you, LORD? Instead of sharing the land, the two religions start a war. As shown by the first two quotes, the three religions are quite similar, so sharing the holy site should be a simple task. Also, one religion should not have more entitlement to a sacred site than another religion. As made clear by the third quote, one does not know whose gods are stronger; this would make the religions equal in strength, which would diminish the idea that one religion has more right to a holy place than another. One would also think that having religious disputes like these would be against the religion’s codes and
