The Outsiders As a class we had read the book, “The Outsiders.” Overall I thought it was a really good book and it was very interesting. The book was set in Oklahoma and that’s where we live, so that was pretty cool. I also liked a lot of character in the book and some of it was very relatable. It also kept me hooked while reading and there was a lot of events that happened. I liked Ponyboy, Johnny, Sodapop, and Darry the best. I liked them because I felt they were all very important characters. I liked Ponyboy because even though he was the youngest, he was still tough and didn’t let that affect him. I liked Johnny because he was probably nicest out of all the boys and he was still strong for not having his parents, he just had the gang. I liked Sodapop because he looked after Ponyboy and took care of him. I also liked Darry because he was like a dad to the gang and took care of Ponyboy and Sodapop, and didn’t let anything happen to them. My least favorite characters were probably Dally and Two-bit. I didn’t really like Dally because he was kind of mean and he seemed like he didn’t cared about other people. I also didn’t really like Two-bit because he was really sarcastic when it wasn’t the right time to be. …show more content…
I felt like we sorta relate because he was the youngest in the gang and I’m like always the youngest when I’m in a group of people. I feel like are personalities are similar because I felt he liked when things went good and that’s how I am. Also he was good in school work, and that’s how I am too. I can relate to him with my hopes because he always hoped good thing to people, and that’s was I hope to do. Also he was fourteen and so am I, so I felt his dreams were to go to college and like kind of impress Darry, and I hope t college to and I like to my parents
