An issue in our society that's happening is people robbing and stealing just to get extra cash. This is a big issue today because people will do almost anything if there is an opportunity to make some quick money illegally. It can be just stealing something from someone when they are not paying attention or it could lead up to someone being killed because they have what the robber wants. When people get robbed it really hurts them because those people worked hard for what they got and then someone comes by and takes it and doesn't really have to work for it. This relates to “The Pardoner’s Tale” by Geoffrey Chaucer because it shows you that it's better to work for what you want and not try and take it the easy way
