Passover begins during the full moon in the first month of the new year of the Jewish calendar. This feast takes place around March/April on the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar is named after Pope Gregory Xiii. This calendar was introduced in October 1582. Israel celebrates the Passover, one because God commands it and two, because God brought them out of Egypt, out of bondage, which was slavery. Passover is an eight day holiday Nisan 15th through the 22nd, March/ April.
