The PBS article on film discusses the struggle of adapting a film into a movie. A film maker has to shorten or even take scenes out because,“film is limited” (PBS). As in a novel there isn’t a constraint of time(PBS). Another example is that when a film is based on a novel something you pictured you read in the book ends up no where close as you imagined. The visual scene,“stimulates our perceptions only”(PBS). In the end it is very difficult to make a film into a novel because there is too much information. On the other hand, not only does the perception change but also a short story and film theme change.
