The Prom Goer’s Interstellar Excursion, written by Chris McCoy, was first published in 2015. McCoy is also a screenwriter who has worked with Disney, Paramount, Dreamworks, and Marvel. McCoy also has multiple other books out with one of the most loved being The Prom Goer’s Interstellar Excursion. The Prom Goer’s Interstellar Excursion is about a senior in high school from Gordo, New Mexico named Bennett Bardo. The book is started off with Bennett first writing about his small town and slowly transitioning to the girl he has been in love with since he was a kid, the mysterious Sophie Gilkey. One weekend, Bennett’s parents leave him alone and as he is stargazing he sees Sophie, his neighbor, crying in her driveway.
