The United States of America is known as the “melting pot” of the world. The meaning of the melting pot comes from a country made up of different cultures, races, people, and religions that live in this amazing country. There are many races and people in America. If one thing is found offensive to on specific race, it should be banned. 72% of the African American population find a symbol offensive and raciest (Aglesta). With this, the Confederate flag should be banned from public display.
