The event was one of the observers life experience and it is not was told by someone else. In the days during the siege, the observer was among those who faced hardships and saw people of all sorts and conditions being killed ,raped, disrobed, pillaging, and taken into captives (2011). The incorporation of Christianity sides in the document show a huge extent of Christianity during that time of Byzantine Empire period. This Christianity part incorporated can help the audience understand the magnitude of the massacre, destruction and desperate intentions of the Turkish soldiers to extensively destroy everything on sight in the city (2011).Although I feel that the eyewitness’s statements are true and compelling testimony; the memory can also be subjected to some biases and errors. Like every human being can err and cannot provide specific details of the event. I think that this account of events would have been more detailed is it was filmed but I feel it is still a good piece of historical information. The tone in a document changes how we feel about it and generates a reaction in a certain way. I feel the author uses a tone to try to change how people react to the problem they are facing.
