The Salvation Army is known as a charitable organization, but that's not all that it is. It also has Churches all around the World. Bet you didn't know that one. There are precisely 15,409 Congregations are the world today. But, I'll explain more about my Church later on. I'm a Salvationist, and I strongly agree with what we believe maybe, later on, I can change your mind, and you maybe will consider checking out a Salvation Army nearest to you.

The first thing you are going to need to know is the history of the Salvation Army how we started and what we are today. So, The Salvation Army was founded by William Booth. I'll try to tell what our uniforms look like and why we were them. For the women we wear a black skirt that covers our knees, then a white top, and a tunic. Men wear black pants and a white shirt with a tunic. A tunic has what we call eplits they tell which rank you are in the Corps. The lowest is Jr. Soldiers they don't have eplits yet but they have pins that have S's on them. Senior soldiers are the second ranking in the corps. Their epits are a navy blue they are placed at the top of the tunic. They also wear pins that have S's on them, but they're different than the Jr. Soldiers. Then you have the officers who are the preachers in the Corps. They wear different color eplits according to their ranking. Now that you know what we wear I'll explain what happens in our Church. So basically we begin with the band leading in some music, then we give out announcements, the band plays some more, Scripture, Praise Band, Offering, if you don't know what offering is it's the money we collect for the other Corps overseas.
