What were the outcomes of the second Punic War?
Punic wars were held between Rome and Carthage through the time period of B.C. 264-146. The wars which took place were three, from which the second was the harshest one.
According to Morey (1901) the second Punic war had as protagonist general Hannibal as a leader of the Carthage. Hannibal was a very clever and fearless leader who wanted to conquer Rome since he was a boy. That passion led the army and the allies of Carthage to great battles with many victories over Roman troops. The second war lasted 17 years with Roman armies defeated almost every time. After the loss of thousands of soldiers from both sides Rome won the war at last. The overall outcomes of the war
