Christopher Pike's "Chain Letter" is a novel with seven teenagers that receive a letter that is admonishing to reveal the night that they all want to forget, from someone named the Caretaker. If they didn't pursue the set of rules in the letter, there were consequences to pay.The seven teens unintentionally ran over a man after a full night of drinking and smoking.
