He's a Greek demigod and the son of Poseidon. The first Heroes of Olympus book was set in the Greek camp, but this one takes place in the Roman camp. Percy's two friends are also demigods. Frank is son of Mars, and Hazel is a daughter of Pluto. Percy wakes up with no idea of who he is, all he knows is his name. Percy meets up with other many demigods, and gods on his quest to get his memory back and free the god of death. Throughout the book Percy faces many struggles, but with the help of his friends, they're able to succeed in them.
