The world we live in today is hospitable for us. We aren’t getting chased around by dinosaurs, or trying our best to defeat robots that are trying to kill us and take over the world. Can you imagine that? In both the exercises we will dive into what life may potentially be like if we decide to explore these options. In this essay, we will be diving into the similarities and differences between Jurassic Park and The Sound of Thunder. In Jurrasic Park, billionaire Dr. John Hammond invites expert palentologist Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler to visit his theme park, where he miraculously found a way to bring dinosaurs back to life by extracting blood from ancient miksquitos, which had dinosaur DNA inside, and combinging it with frog DNA to make a dinosaur. Dr. Sattler is sent to rescue Dr. Hammonds grandkids and the other tourists on the tour. As the tourists make their way to the island's helipad, they escape. Overall “Jurrasic Park” is a thrilling adventure that raises thought-provoking questions about humanity’s relationship with nature, the ethical boundaries of scientific progress, and the consequences of unchecked ambition. In the Sound of Thunder, Eckels meets with the Time Safari Company, while there they offer him a trip to go hunt dinosaurs. Before the trip, the company warned them not to get off track or don’t interact with the creatures. Once the group gets to the prehistoric area they see all of the different types of dinosaurs including a Trannoaurs Rex also known as a T-Rex. When Ekcels encounters the T-Rex, he freaks out and panics, he was so shocked that he disobeyed the commands of the company and took a step off path. When he steps off the path he inadvertently crushes a butterfly, violating one of the main rules of time travel. After the incident the group returned back to present time, when they got back they realized that they changed the course of
