Jealousy may get the best of you, but don't let it control you. In my book Game Changers, Play Makers by Mike Lupica, Ben gets jealous at Chase and lets it control him. Ben plays basketball for Rockwell and Chase plays basketball for Darby. Darby and Rockwell are rival schools and Ben and Chase are rivals. Ben gets jealous and he hurts his teammates. Ben lets his jealousy control him because he wants to be better than Chase. He practices every night and one night he invites Sam to come practice with him. It was dark out and the court had a lot of holes, so while they were playing Sam fell in a hole and broke his ankle.
