Abstract
The article that I found to be most helpful as an online graduate student was the 4 Time Management Tips for Online Students by Kelsey Sheehy. The tip that I would continue to implement throughout my journey would be a combination of all of them. The article addresses many issues that I believe many online students face. The four tips that are provided in the article if apply to one’s online studies they can greatly improve their success in an online learning environment.

I found this article to be helpful in many ways in pursuit of my MBA. The article pointed out some key issues that I believe many online learners including myself face. The issues such as face to face time with the instructor or the assumption that online learning is easier than the classroom. Being used to the traditional way of the classroom setting I can relate to the article statement of my peers in a classroom whom have face to face access to the instructor versus me and others who don’t have that access.
The issue of not having the one on one time with an instructor can be a scary thought in sense. You question yourself will I be able to truly succeed or will the instructor really have time to address my concerns and provide help if needed. This along with the shy or prideful attitude of I can do it myself can leave an online learner in somewhat of a pickle. The article addresses how the normal everyday distractions along with a lack of oversight, an online learner can find themselves falling behind.
What the article brought to light was that online learning doesn’t have to be as daunting as one can make it be. By applying these simple four tips and with discipline I believe I can become not only a successful online student but I can become a better student overall. The article spoke of four tips which are Make a plan, Check it daily, Look ahead and Speak up.
