The goal of the Tuskegee syphilis experiment is see the “participants” dead body and to find out the cause of death so that they can see how the syphilis influence the body but especially their organs.

I think what Sandra Quinn chose to include that information because she wants to tell us how these people took advantage of these innocent lives for their use of their experiment which totally lead to them being lied and manipulated them in many ways. They were left to slowly die (of course) throughout the experiment.
