The parents, George and Lydia are to blame for their deaths in, “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury. They are the ones who bought the house full of technology and paid little attention to what their kids did every day in the nursery. The parents finally decided to check the nursery, and then felt that the kids spent too much time in it. They did not like what the kids were imagining (Africa) in the nursery, so they decided to turn it off for a while. "But I thought that's why we bought this house, so we wouldn't have to do anything?" This proves my claim, it shows that the parents got the technology so that they did not need to do anything for there kids and/or themselves, which made the kids get addicted to all the technology.
