The Verdict, with Paul Newman.
A patient who went into labor at this particular hospital came out in a vegetative stage. The anesthesiologist who took care of her tried to defend himself, by freeing him from all fault, arguing that after vomiting in her own anesthesia mask and aspirated her own vomit, her oxygen went to a very low lever for too long. She suffered from hypoxia, and her brain suffered leaving her unconscious and dependent on a respirator machine.
Mr. Galvin is the lawyer who the case was given to defend. Played by actor Paul Newman, Mr. Galvin gave himself to the task of finding the real reason this unfortunate situation took place, which successfully, after many fails discovered the key person with all the answers.

The nurse stated the doctor threatened her stating that she can lose her job, and never work again if the change was not made. Clearly he was covering his errors.
Now, I have mix feeling in regard to this situation. Clearly, the nurse should never have change the first data on the admitting form. Not only did she ruined the client’s life, she also ruined the client’s family life, he own life and her own families’ life. She felt so much guilt after this that ran away and never worked as a nurse again. The point is that either way she lost it all.
Whose fault was it really? Well, I think it was everybody’s fault, from the admitting nurse to all attendants who took care of the patient on that day. The nurse did the right thing at the beginning, but committed a crime when she changed the information at the end, when the patient was already damaged. The doctor, is clearly at fault, because not only he did his job by reading his patient’s chart, but after he made the mistake he wanted to cover all the tracks. He used a second party to do so, and threatened her to do it for
