An important trait that Odysseus shows in the Odyssey is kindness. Odysseus demonstrates this throughout the entire story. Many times, he chooses the safety of his men over himself. An example of this is when Circe turned his men into pigs, but Odysseus went back to save them. This doesn’t only show kindness, but courage and bravery as well.
