First is because of importing and exporting. Importing and exporting connects to the geography of Costa Rica, because Costa Rica's neighboring countries don't have all the resources that Costa Rica has and Vice versa. Exports include natural resources of coffee beans, bananas, lumber, and sugar. Imports include of electronics, cars, and corn (“5 Themes”). This also makes Costa Rica’s economy really good, and will make people more likely to move there. A second thing that connects to movement is tourism. From their rainforests and beaches to their volcanos and beautiful climate, there is so much to do in Costa Rica. Costa Rica has had an enormous amount of wildlife including butterflies, crocodiles, sharks, turtles, and Toucans, which really intrigue tourist (Costa Rica’s). Costa Rica's tourism is one of the main things that helps the economy. This would make people want to move there if their GDP was up. Lastly, the major businesses like Microsoft and Nextel that are American companies have associations with Costa Rica which locates some in Costa Rica.
