Theodore started his journey, a journey that would be very very long, filled with mountains and rivers and magical creatures. On the way he found an old golden lamp, Theodore picked up the lamp and rubbed it three times, freeing the genie whom gave Theodore three wishes out of gratitude for freeing him. Theodore decided to give up, disobeying the kings orders. On his way down Theodore came a cross a bizarre villages filled with talking creatures that looked like bears. Theodore told the creatures about his journey and be friended the creatures. Out of loyalty to Theodore and the king gave the soldier fur to warm him so he could continue his journey.
The witch then found out about Theodore's mission to save the princess, so as Theodore was making his way along the path the witch snatched up Theodore imprisoning him as well. As Theodore was locked up he remembered he had two more wishes. He called upon the genie who immediately came to Theodore's side. The genie used Theodore's second wish to free him from the prison.
The witch found out about Theodore's escape, out of anger she challenged him to a dual and a bet. If the witch won the princess and Theodore would stay imprisoned forever, if Theodore won Theodore and the princess would be free.
