Theodore Roosevelt was a man who enjoyed taking matters into his own hands and doing things his own way. He didn’t like listening to others. Theodore Roosevelt led his team of “Rough Riders” during the Spanish American War. Theodore Roosevelt had a love for nature and animals. His love for the environment would be one of his main focuses during his presidency, and even before his presidency as well. Theodore Roosevelt’s interest in nature will be the basis of numerous national park laws and ultimately the creation of the preservation of endangered wild species.
