Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States, was born in the year of 1858. Roosevelt went to law school and worked extremely hard. Roosevelt had a lot of experience because he worked in many different positions having to do with politics and law. He eventually became the governor of New York in 1898. He then became the Vice President to William Mckinley, who was assassinated in 1901. Because of this unfortunate event, Roosevelt had to take the position making him the youngest person to become president at the age of 42. Roosevelt left office in the year of 1909. He died ten years later at the age of 60.
