Tim Burton is a famous animator, director, producer, and screenwriter known for his “quirky characters and delightfully sinister settings” that blend themes of fantasy and horror. He mainly works with clay animation, but has also been very successful in the world of live action. Some of his most popular works include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice. Over the course of his career he has acquired numerous awards, including a BAA (British Animation Award) for best feature for Corpse Bride in 2005.
