I believe Dan Morris was part of the Conformist stage. Other than being the executor to Tim’s will and Tim’s best friend, Dan only shows of emotion were based on common reasoning and love for his friend. Tim’s love interest, Emily Posa, was an intricate character but I would not say she was special enough to be considered anything other than the Conformist stage. Her character, though important, was just the sick love interest. Emily changed in the movie only slightly because of her care and opinion of Tim. Contrary to just about everyone else, Ezra Turner was definitely on the Mystic Stage. Being a blind man as well as a musician and the way he communicated with Tim and the other characters in the movie. Ezra obviously showed a more definite and calm view of life. Connie Tepos was another plain sort of character meaning I would put her in with the Conformist stage. I say plain because there was not any big indication of deep thought within the character, only that she appeared supremely normal. She, aside from Tim, probably showed the biggest change in the story, when she contacted Tim only because he said he could help Connie. Initially she would have nothing to do with Tim. The last two characters Holly and George did not have a big part in the movie, but made a big difference to the story. Holly and George, I would put both in the Mystic stage. Holly show trust in her friend
