Time management is when you plan and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. I have to maintain a certain level of income, so time management is extremely important. I have to work full time, attend school and try to keep up my GPA which is important to me. So it is a constant struggle in the back of my mind how to spend my time and what is important. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals complying with a due date. I have set days during the week to complete my homework. I like to finish these projects a day or two before the actual class so that I can have time to look over my work to make sure it’s done correctly. I like to feel confident about what I will be turning in and not rushed. This also gives me peace of mind at night and I don’t get stuck staying up late trying to meet a deadline. Initially, time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities as well. Usually time management is a necessity in any project development as it determines the project completion time and scope. There are days where I need a break from all my work and homework so I even set aside a specific time to where I can have some down time to read or catch up on a show and it won’t affect my projects. When I accept a free-lance job I have to divide up my time a little more and things can get a bit tight, but it’s what is necessary to finish the projects. I know if I
