Deadly diseases are still something to worry about. There are many diseases that are very insecure. First, one person gets sick, then another, soon everybody’s sick from the flu. The flu is just one type of killer disease, other examples are the bird flu, Spanish flu, smallpox, and Ebola. The most severe disease that people should worry about is smallpox. Smallpox is considered to have killed more people than any other infectious disease. In the story, “Tiny Invaders,” Kimberly Feltes Taylor states, “Between 1900 and 1977, 300 million people died of smallpox,” (P. 249).
